Terms and Conditions

(1) Local languages refer to Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English,Tamil & Local Chinese dialects.
(2) Minimum meal allowance of RM 50 per day for overland assignments if meals are not provided by the Tour operator.
(3) Accommodation must be provided by hire / operator. Female or male guides are to be provided
with rooms, or share rooms with female or male TG companion under (6 (1) (N) 1992 Act respectively @ the same Hotel or TG are entitle to claim RM 250 per night for Hotel Accommodation.
(4) Upon exceeding the hours indicated in the Half Day or Full Day Tours shown above, overtime rates are applicable regardless of whether a full hour is incurred or not.
(5) Cancellation of overland assignments must be given 3 days’ notice in advance, otherwise a 01 day professional fee will be charged.
(6) Cancellation of all other assignments must be given 24 hours in advance notice, otherwise the full assignment fee need be paid by the operator.
7) A transport charge of RM100.00 (One Way) is applicable for all assignments starting / finishing at any of the Thailand / Malaysia border entry / exit points and / or Second Link Johor.
The amount charged is to reimburse the tourist guide for his / her transport / traveling expenses to / from the borders and / or Second Link to pick-up / drop-off tourists accordingly.
For assignment(s) where a guide is engaged to travel with the group from the start, to the finish of the tour at the Second link, a single charge is applicable as the guide concerned need only to travel once – to and from the Second Link. For assignment(s) where the guide engaged needs to perform the pick-up and drop-off on different days, two separate charges are applicable as the guide concerned needs to travel and from the point of assignment on separate days to pick-up and drop-off the group.
8) Tour Guide are strictly not allowed to under/over charge the Travel Agents and Transport operators
9) Tour Guide Fees Charges are doubled on the Eleven (11) Malaysian Public Holidays:-
1. New Year – January 1st 2. Labour Day – May 1st
3. Hari Raya Puasa – Day 1 & Day 2 4. Chinese New Year – Day 1 & Day 2
5. Wesak Day – Day 1 6. Deepavali Day 1
7. Christmas – December 25th 8. National Day 31st August
9. Malaysia Day 16th September 10. King Birthday Day 1
11. Hari Raya Haji –Day 1
